Celebrating Dawn Daily’s Retirement

HCFCU’s esteemed Vice President of Lending and Collections, Dawn Daily, is retiring after more than 20 years of service. Dawn has been a steadfast leader, a faithful confidant, and a loyal advocate for Harris County Federal Credit Union.

She has achieved many milestones in her career and assisted countless members on their path to financial wellness. We are grateful for her contributions to the credit union and will truly miss her energy, her expertise, and her encouragement.

We will be hosting a reception in Dawn’s honor on April 24th from 11am-2pm. Please join us at the credit union to wish her well in this next chapter!

Celebrating 75 Years of Being Member Strong Since 1951

As we celebrate 75 years of service, we want to shine a spotlight on the members who make Harris County Federal Credit Union truly special. Our strength has always come from YOU and now it’s time to recognize those who go above and beyond.

We are officially accepting nominations for our 75th Anniversary Member Awards!

Do you know a member who stands out? Someone making a difference at school, in their profession, or throughout the community? Nominate them today with the form below!


Award Categories:

Youth Member of the Year (18 & Under)

Recognizing a young member who exemplifies excellence through: Strong academic performance, leadership qualities, community involvement, & positive character and integrity.


Member Advocate Award

Honoring a member who proudly promotes HCFCU by: Referring friends, family & coworkers, actively participating in credit union events, advocation for the benefits of membership & living out what it means to be MEMBER STRONG!


Service Hero Award

Celebrating a member who serves others in their profession, including: law enforcement officers, firefighters, educators, healthcare professionals, & other public service professionals. A member who demonstrates unwavering commitment to helping others in their profession and goes above and beyond what is required in their role.


Community Impact Member Award

Recognizing a member who actively gives back to their community: actively gives back to their community, leads initiatives that positively impact others,  and demonstrates a heart for service beyond their professional role.


How to Nominate

To submit a nomination: Complete the online nomination form below and include a recommendation letter (either uploaded or typed directly into the form) explaining why the nominee deserves the award.


Award Presentation

Winners will be notified in advance to receive awards during 75th Charter Celebration. Members will receive an award and monetary 75th Anniversary gift from HCFCU.

In-person giveaway: Only HCFCU members in good standing who provide proof of membership via membership card or debit card are eligible to receive a member award.
By accepting an award, members consent to have their name, pictures, likeness, and story published for publicity purposes without further compensation via HCFCU, through, but not limited to, photos, status updates, news stories, blog or website postings, and social media.
All entrants agree to release and hold HCFCU harmless from any and all claims of any kind arising directly and indirectly from the giveaway(s), a prize(s), or any publicity received from the promotion.

This year, we’re celebrating 75 years of serving our members and community! To mark the occasion, we’re hosting Sweet 75 Fridays in our lobby every Friday throughout the year.

Stop by and enjoy a sweet treat and a cup of coffee as our way of saying thank you for being the best part of HCFCU. Each Friday is a small celebration of the relationships, memories, and moments that have made the last 75 years so special.

Because 75 years is worth celebrating and it wouldn’t be possible without you!
