Grandparents and Parents should take this Spring to teach their children about credit unions. So this April, we encourage you to open your little one their own membership with a Kid’s Treasure account!
Every youth membership (17 years of age or younger) opened between April 1st and April 30th, who sets up a $20/month or more payroll deduction into their new Kid’s Treasure account will receive an entry into a drawing to win a $50 Target Gift Card.* The drawing will be held at the end of the entry period, and the winning account holders will be mailed a prize package full of fun HCFCU branded items plus the gift card! Our Youth members age 16-17 years of age can double their chance into the drawing by opening a Young Adult Share Draft account, a checking account made with youth in mind.
Our Kid’s Treasure account comes with many additional benefits compared to a standard shares account. Setting up the account can help establish your tiny saver’s credit union membership and provide opportunities to earn additional money each year. When you add their account to your payroll deduction, you automatically enter the account for our Splurge for School contest, plus keeping the account active.

The Young Adult Share Draft Account is a Checking account for youth members between the ages of 16-25 who are eligible to open a Young Adult Share Draft Checking account. This account has many features to help avoid fees and service charges. It also rewards when a member graduates high school, college or earns an advanced degree.
