‘Tis the season to give, and we believe in giving local & year-round. This November kicks off our Season of Giving. Here are some of the many ways you can help contribute to our fundraising efforts for our local food shelters, children, & county pets.
We’re collecting donations for Harris County Animal Shelter’s #FundTheShelter challenge, would you help by donating your spare change or a $1? Beginning today, running through May 6th we will be raising funds to give to the Harris County Animal Shelter.
Harris County Animal Shelter is involved in the #FundTheShelters challenge, a friendly fundraising competition to help raise money to causes like the shelter. By giving donations directly to their donation page, http://bit.ly/FUNDHCAS, we will help increase their chances to win the grand prize of $50,000! The challenge runs from 4/9 until 5/9 and to improve their support we’re asking members for their ‘spare change’ in their accounts.
We are also collecting supplies until April 30th for the animal shelter. You can drop those items off in the lobby and receive a special gift at the front desk. We also have other ways you can help assist the shelter. Visit https://hcfcu.com/hcphes to purchase your very own “Paws For A Cause” BOOK! This book contains information about HCAS, adopting, fostering, and donating. It talks
about pet ownership, and there might be a few pics of some cute pups and sweet kittens. Proceeds benefit the HCAS for whatever they might need. Also on our site, you can find a list of the most needed items & the shelter’s Amazon wish list. You can ship the items straight to the shelter and even add a note saying, “From a loving HCFCU member”!
We appreciate our giving members that help assist the cause and enjoy anything you can donate. You can make any monetary or supply donations year-round here at the credit union, and we’ll get them to the shelter.
