We’ve extended our Stronger Together campaign for our annual MEMBERstrong event through the end of March; we’re hoping to help our members differently this year. We know with the recent storm that passed has probably created more setbacks than before; therefore, please let us know! See details below:

This February, we’re looking to make an impact with the appreciation we typically show our members. Our members are known for being pretty STRONG and sharing the love because our members are first responders, essential employees, and front-line workers from critical County departments located throughout our community! We’re looking to our employees and essential workers who have been on the front lines to help us share moments of care and send messages of hope.

This past year has been difficult, and we want to hear about the challenges you’ve faced or the challenges of someone you know. As a credit union, we’re built on the premise of people helping people, so we want to help or understand how you’ve helped! Did the credit union, or one of our staff members, make a difference for you, or did you make a difference for someone else? We want to know!

We will randomly select members to receive a MEMBERstrong Care package and work to provide hope and care to others in unique ways. By submitting a story, you enter yourself into a raffle to win an assortment of HCFCU branded items along with the other individual! If your message is to our general staff or group, you can place that in the nominee box, or maybe it’s our Parks & Rec Dept? Whoever, let us know where we should be looking for some of our #STRONG ones & to those who might need some hope and care.

We raised over $1,100 with our t-shirt campaign to donate directly to the Houston Food Bank & BEAR. Thank you to everyone who helps contribute to our campaigns; the credit union helped contribute $700 towards this cause. Reminder, we ALWAYS accept donations annually for Houston Food Bank, BEAR, Harris County Pets, Cancer Awareness, & for our Blue Family.
