It’s important to safeguard your account information, debit/credit card numbers, PIN or other passwords from thieves or individuals looking to obtain your information. This includes not writing your PIN on your cards, looking out for suspicious ATMs, self-checkouts and/or pay-at-the-pump locations, not replying to suspicious emails or phone calls and monitoring your account activity regularly. You can further protect yourself while shopping online by registering your cards with MasterCard Secure Code and/or Verified by Visa using the links at the bottom of this page and following the tips here.
It’s Me 247 online banking, text alerts, e-alerts and eStatements are great tools to help conveniently monitor your account activity and provide some added security to your account. Please report any suspicious transactions you find immediately. If you are not enrolled in online banking, text alerts or e-alerts – contact an MSR today.
