Congrats Scholarship Recipients

A big congrats to all of our outgoing high school seniors as they make their way to college in the fall. HCFCU wishes all applicants of our Memorial Scholarship the best of luck in their future endeavors. This year HCFCU awarded $5,000 in scholarships in memory of the late Harris County Commissioner, El Franco Lee. Scholarships are awarded annually, at the end of each school year. Kelsey Bryant is a graduating senior at Clear Springs High School & will be attending Texas Tech majoring in pre-veterinary medicine.

Francisco Cardenas is a graduating senior at North Shore Senior High School & will be attending Texas A&M University majoring in engineering.

Kaleb Winn is a graduating senior at Ridgepoint High School & will be attending Prairie View A&M for majoring in mechanical engineering.

Caleb Godfrey is a graduating senior at Waller High School & will be attending Blinn College majoring in pre-pediatric physical therapy.

Cecilia Rodriguez is a graduating senior at Carnegie Vanguard High School & will be attending Texas A&M University majoring in political science.

Lobby and Drive-Thru Closed on Monday, July 4th

The credit union lobby and drive-thru will be closed on July 4th, 2022 in observance of Independence Day.  The call center will be open normal hours to serve you. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, 7/5. We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage members to access account information and services using our convenient online options during this time.


2021 Year-End Tax Info

Members who earned $10 or more in dividends will receive a 1099-INT form. This form will be included with your December statement. Members who paid $600 or more in mortgage interest on a home equity loan with the credit union will receive a 1098 form. Members who received more than $600 in gifts, prizes, or awards from the credit union will receive a 1099-MISC.

Members who have multiple membership accounts will receive 1099-INT information separately for each membership number.

Year-end dividend information can be found on your December statement. Please retain your December statement for your tax records. Your 1099-INT info is on this statement and separate mailings will only be sent for qualified accounts.

Attention eStatement Users: Members who are enrolled in eStatements can view their statement in the online banking center, as usual, after January 3rd. No paper copy of the 1099-INT tax form will be mailed. To read the Instructions for form 1099-INT, click here.
