Kids Treasure Account – Discover the Hidden Treasure of Saving

The Kids Treasure Account is HCFCU’s way of encouraging kids to save and rewarding them for good grades. It is important for young people to establish good saving habits. HCFCU pays dividends to kids up to 18 years of age with at least $5.00 in their Kids Treasure Account. We will also deposit funds into eligible Kids Treasure Accounts based on report card data submitted at the end of each school year.

• Children receiving all A’s and B’s (or the equivalent) for the school year are rewarded as follows:
  • $5 per qualifying grading period up to $20 per year
• Report cards must be received by July 15th of each year to be eligible for any reward
  • Report Cards can be faxed, mailed or dropped off in person

HCFCU will also hold additional prize drawings and/or events regularly for eligible Kids Treasure Account holders. Details will be available on our website.

Kids under the age of 18 are eligible to open a Kids Treasure Account with a qualifying HCFCU member as a joint account holder. The child must have on deposit the required membership shares in order to add a Kids Treasure Account. Withdrawals are not allowed without the signature of the joint owner.
